It has lots of scripts and custom stuff made for it. Over 2000 lines of zenscript in only a single file.

Ice and Fire could be a bit more fair by spreading the danger dist to over 10k and setting random respawn range to 10k max distance from 0 0 0. Lycanites can be fun, but also seems to make life difficult when doing cave exploration early game. (no speedrunning and no ‘pro’ tactics)

Aside from that it can be a fun pack, especially after adding Journeymap to the game. But that would be modifying the pack, which I see as fine, as Minecraft is meant to be played how you want, not how others want. (for singleplayer at least) If its MP, I recommend teaming up with some peeps and going at it.

It has tons of changes since release that adds more fairness and some other unfairness too. (like nerfing xp farms)

Pack is still being updated. Im excited for the new update.

I feel like the developers of the pack have designed it to kill you in unfair and boring ways. I really couldn’t get in to it at all.

I’ve never liked this one. And, no, it has nothing to do with me preferring tech mods overall. This just doesn’t do much for me.

If you cannot be bothered with tech mods and automation and want the thrill and excitement of challenging (though not overly nuanced) combat, this modpack is for you. Don’t expect to create any beautiful and long-lasting builds for most of the game, structures are free real estate.

The modpack is fine and quite fun if you play it together with friends. The modpack runs surprisingly fine, though its not the pretties things. One annoying thing is the random events, which happen even if you disable them via commands (just run when you see volcano). Overall, the modpack manages to be quite exciting in the early to midgame, but then turns into an xp grind to get the required levels to unlock all the weapons and enchant to max.

The modpack plays really great, its a RPG Roguelite pack, great to play in Hardcore. Sadly, performance isnt great. Mainly because of Ice and Fire, which is also a buggy mess, which doesnt make it any better. Dragons like to appear out of blody nowhere, its really unpredictable.

The pack still recieves some updates, despite being almost 6 years old.

When I get in an can play in a world it’s a nice modpack, however 95% of the time doesn’t even start, crashes when loading world, lag, etc. Reinstalling doesn’t help either.
