RLCraft Dregora Reviews
Worse than normal RLCraft
The first modpack I ever saw on Youtube was RLCraft and It was also the first modpack I played. So I like RLCraft a lot so I can’t place a rating on how good it objectively is. But dregora feels like the 10 thousand parasite biomes they added Unfun and ugly. I mean I get some bad biomes but having to look at a vomit green disgusting biome every 400 blocks and no good structures in between wore down my patience thin. With some balancing and changes to world and structure gen It could be cool but as it is right now I really dislike it.
RLCraft Dregora Is the best modpack ive ever played
Alot of people say how unfair and boring rlcraft dregora is and I think there entirley wrong for the sole fact that its actually difficult over the time you learn and adapt to all the annoying mobs that appear to give you random effects and just cook you in general when me and my friends played it we had no idea what we were doing and we were raging and it was kind of boring, but once you get settled into the world it becomes a godly amount of fun become a noob to a god by raiding all sorts of structures for any possible amount of loot which has made me play it for over 5 months straight with my group of 2 other friends. My main issue though is mainly the end game and the wasteland biomes. In the wasteland biomes like you can expect theres nothing there except for lava which sucks that defeats the entire purpose of exploring for something new, and in the end game getting prepared to go to the lost cities and the brutal tower its mostly just enchant book farming and searching for villagers, champions, and bookwyrms. When me and my friends looked at rlcraft it looked boring mainly because it didnt have the mods everyone uses like create, mekanism, that one farming mod (forgot the name). but it completley flipped our expectations upside down by introducing new and engaging mods that brought alot to the table especially lycanite mobs and scape n run parasites
Basically a masochist simulator
RLCraft Dregora is a continuation to the well hated and over hyped/downloaded modpack for minecraft. From the start you are greeted with new world generation and structures that would be fun to explore if it wasn’t for the whole environment wanting to kill you. After dying and some more dying over and over from literally doing anything like mining stone or being exposed to sun in plains for little too long, you quickly realise exp is needed for wearing or wielding and using anything. So you are forced to waste so much time killing weak animals or the harder way, making a grinding spot in dungeons with monsters that one hit you. When you are finally getting your stuff together, like leather armor you understandably die to everything, then you got to iron, you die to everything, then to diamond, suprisingly everything still makes you go back for your items. After that you made it to very powerful armor that took you some time to make, called manyullyn. The durability on chestplate was like around 500 and couldn’t be enchanted. My friend also made a very powerful armor, draconic armor. We one time went into freezing cold dungeon where we helped ourselves with lava buckets. From what my other friend told me at the end of the dungeon he found a battle tower boss that after killing it, he gave him ultra op weapon that mined stone 3×3 and dealt horrendous amounts of hp. (Your attack level was not needed to use this weapon)The final thing that made us stop playing was a particular tower with portal at the bottom of it. Me and my friend fell into it and got teleported into horrible dimension where the most horrendous monsters resided. They were the most unfair creatures we have ever seen, we couldn’t even outrun them as they were teleporting to us. After dying and losing our valuable stuff it was over. There was no way of getting it back from them. He begged our friend host to give him creative so he could get his items back. He was like “nuh uh”. After watching him struggle and laughing at our misery he finally gave us creative and said that this modpack is a total failure. We then proceeded to deeper layers of the dungeon where we had laughable fps to the mere amount of mobs that were spawning in one chunk. We bombed the entire place. Then we flied outside and with the power of commands, host dissapeared entire building, spawned tnt and… It was his first server that he deleted from his computer. As an experienced modded minecraft player with strong knowledge of old and new mods with likings to hard minecraft modpacks. I will never give fourth Chance for Shivaxi if it comes to RLCraft. I will still make fun of RLCraft, hate and discourage other players from playing it.
