While there are many modpacks trying to capture the feeling of old school tekkit on newer versions, this one is by far the best adaptation. It isn’t bloated with new mods that would make the old stuff obsolete but still keeps a good balance between oldschool minecraft and modern features.

The pack can be played in multiplayer, but due to buildcraft and ic being the main sources for machines you need a quite beefy server.

If you are looking for the ultimate technic pack and don’t care for nostalgic minecraft mods, you might want to look for other alternatives though.
